Battlefield of the Mind

"Battlefield of the Mind" by Joyce Meyer

This is yet another great and very solid book from the same author. This book tackles about the need for the transformation and renewal of our human minds, which is said to be the battlefield between God, the devil and our own flesh.  Every Christian must learn how to walk in the Spirit and do things according to His ways. Learning how to steer clear from negative thoughts can help us resist temptations.

As the old saying goes, you are what you think and you will eventually become what you think. This is said to be the main reason why the devil is always after our own mind, relentlessly trying to possess our very thoughts. The devil will always attempt to lure you to the dark side with your mind. This book is said to be one of the best Joyce Meyer has ever written, expertly delivering a powerful and enlightening piece that can be an instrumental in the spiritual development of a person.

Here are some of the reviews by other people who had the great chance of reading this book:

I believe Joyce Meyer to be one of the very best Bible teachers we have in the Body to-date. This book in particular provides a good commentary and valuable insights in one of the most common problems shared by almost everyone from all walks of life – the incessant need to try and please everyone. There are hundreds of people who have actually benefited from her teachings and have become a highly-recommended self-help book.

For anyone who thinks "people-pleasing" will do anything for your social-life or personal self-esteem except leave you feeling frustrated and feeling unappreciated...this book is for you.... Great practical Christian teaching on following your own destiny, being the authentic you and trusting God to bring the people to you that are supportive and the rest, well....like Joyce Meyer implies, and the old words of wisdom state "You can't please all the people, all the time."
